How to get a Vietnam visa from New Zealand?
From New Zealand, visitors can obtain a Vietnam visa in a few hours by applying for a Vietnam e-visa or visa on arrival. Alternatively, you may submit a visa application directly to the Vietnam Embassy or Consulate in Wellington, New Zealand in 3 - 5 working days.
Each visa option offers its own advantages and disadvantages. The Vietnam e-visa and visa on arrival are particularly beneficial for applicants who live far from a Vietnamese Embassy or Consulate, prefer not to send their passport by post, or wish to avoid queuing in person at the embassy. Additional advantages of both options include faster processing times, lower costs, and greater convenience in urgent situations. However, the visa on arrival is available for air travel entry only, whereas the e-visa is accepted at airports, land border crossings, and seaports.
