Processing fee and stamping fee
There are two types of fees applicable when applying for a Vietnam visa on arrival: the processing fee and the stamping fee.
The processing fee (also known as the service fee) is paid in advance to the visa agent for handling the visa approval letter. The stamping fee is paid in cash (USD or VND) directly to Immigration Officers at the immigration desk upon arrival.
In contrast, when applying for a Vietnam e-visa, applicants are required to pay only the application fee. No stamping fee is required at the arrival airport.
